We were in charge of a wide range of creative direction and production activities for HAKIMONO, a project launched in 2017 with support from Japan’s Ministry of Economy, Trade, and Industry (METI). The project aimed to promote Japanese leather shoes – a fusion of high craftsmanship and traditional culture – internationally. We created visuals that also served as rebranding for the overseas market, and attracted attention not only from international buyers, but also from foreign media and bloggers.
